Valley Farm, Bradford |
Meadowburg
Farm, Richmond |
In 2005, the James family of Tomaquag Valley
Farm, working with the Hopkinton Land Trust, placed a conservation
easement on 75 acres of their farm in Bradford. They are
upgrading their
facilities to ensure continued success in producing high
quality milk at their farm. Barry, Ruth, along with their
children Barry Jr. and Brenda, work hard to continue the
family legacy for future generations.

Picturesque Meadowburg farm, nestled in
the woods behind Richmond school, welcomes you with beautiful
flowers and fields. Home to 100+ Holstein, Jersey, and
Guernsey dairy cows, this land has been farmed for more
than 300 years. The Kenyons have been faithful stewards
of their farm since the 1950s. Currently operated by Francis,
Rita and Connie, the family works very hard to produce
fresh, quality milk.

Highland Farm, Portsmouth |
Cottrell
Homestead, West Kingston |
In
2005, Louis and Jane Escobar, with the help of the Aquidneck
Land Trust, placed a conservation easement on 75 acres
of land that has been farmed since the 1700s. In so doing,
the Escobars are now able to ensure their cows have a
home forever. The Portsmouth community, which has come
to love this farm, can see the care and devotion put
into producing this quality milk.

Farm

In 1900, Caleb Cottrell settled in West
Kingston, starting a tradition that still remains today.
On Cottrell Homestead, you'll find fields of corn and acres
of hay
and 100 head of Ayrshire and Holstein cattle. The Cottrell
family is nationally known and respected for their quality
herd, winning many awards. Today, Oliver Cottrell oversees
the farm with his sons Glen and Matthew, along with his
grandson Caleb, and hopes one day to turn Cottrell Homestead
over to the next generation to continue this family farming
tradition.

| Dutra
Farm, Jamestown |
Twins Megan and Morgan are just two of the 100+ cows
enjoying fresh pasture and breathtaking scenery on Jamestown’s
Dutra farm. Farmed for over 300 years, this land has
been home to the Dutra family since the early 1900’s.
Today, Joseph and Jessie Dutra own and operate the farm.
Their son, Joey Jr., born in 2002, is the 4th generation
to cross the threshold of their barn. In keeping with
family tradition, the Dutras work hard to produce fresh
quality milk the way nature intended.
